Our New House! May 26, 2009

Troy and I have been looking at houses more serious lately as the interest rates have really gone done. We kind of have a picky list of things we wanted. Such as a house that was not located next a ditch, canal or busy highway. It seems like every time we find a house, one or all 3 of the items seem to be a major issue for us. As we have 2 boys that are very interested in all that is around them. Anyways we started to think we would just keep waiting since we still hadn't found anything that we liked that fit into our price range. However the Wednesday before Memorial day a house came on the market. 2 miles from our current location...YEAH....no ditches, no canals and no busy highways. However there was also no pictures, the price was unreal...as we have been looking for a while and we had a real good idea what the houses were going for in the area. So we went to look at the place on Friday morning, and turned in an offer that afternoon. We also knew that there was another offer that went in the same day. So then we had to wait until Tuesday to hear anything. That was one long weekend. However Tuesday did came and they accepted our offer. So in the end we got a great house. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 full bath, kitchen, dinning room, and living room upstairs. Full 90% finished basement. So a total of 1300 sq ft on each floor. Plus a garage almost the same size as our trailer with almost 900 sq ft by itself. Troy is in heaven! I am really excited for my hobby room downstairs. I can finally unpack all my scrap booking supplies and get caught up with the last 4 years of pictures. We are both very excited for our full acre that comes with the house. We have 1 big apple tree already there. But we plan to put in another one and a pear tree, and who knows what else. We have years to play around with it. We are really excited about our new house. And we know that the Lord helped us get this house, as it has everything we have been praying for. I will post pictures soon.
