A Surprise Trip!
So Sunday the 24th is our 6th year Anniversary. Yeah!!! It seems that our anniversary has always landed during a busy time for us and we have never really done much to celebrate other than go out to dinner. Which is great, don't get me wrong. However this year Troy decided to surprise me with a trip to Logan, UT. This was my first time there. He had it all arranged, the kids stayed with family, and we were off.
It was a very bright day and Troy was taking forever to take the photo.
The Logan temple is very beautiful, we were hoping to do a session while there, but we always forget that the temple is closed on Mondays.
He booked us a room at the Anniversary Inn in Logan, very nice place.
We had a great time away from the boys. It was nice not to have worry about them making too much noise or breaking something. Or all the needs that kids have while traveling. Anyway it was a great trip. Thanks Troy for planning and keeping it a surprise. I love you.
Rabbits or Boys?? You decide.
The other day Isaac and James were outside playing in the backyard. Both boys know they are not to be in the garden without Mom or Dad. This is what I found them doing the other day when they thought no one was watching.

They were both very proud of their carrots that they picked. Isaac was especially proud of his...deformed carrot.

1 Pear and 1 Bottle of Gatorade=?????
So the other day Troy and his father and brother went on a 4 wheeler ride together. They went up towards the sand dunes. They had a lot of fun. When they stopped for lunch, Troy opened his lunch box and found this lovely picture. There was nothing left of the pear other than the pearsauce that he made. And the black baggie in there was cookies, now it is just crumbs.

Hay Ride
Our First BBQ at Our New Place
Troy and I had a BBQ the other night, our first one at our new house. We even used our new yard with our very thick grass...that we started growing the middle of June. Its really great grass and if anyone has ever planted grass from seed before you know how hard it is to do, especially with 90 degree weather.
This is James and Samuel going for a ride on his fire truck. Samuel wasn't so sure of James being the driver.
Isaac and his friend Cody really enjoyed playing in the swimming pool. However this just happened to be the coldest day of the entire summer. So if it looks like they have blue lips, its because they really do.

Now this is Troy's dream. To have his own dirt bike again. I guess its hard being married to a me...I am not a big fan of these things.

This is our crazy James, he loves all sweets, actually anything with sugar in it. He would eat popsicles all day long if I would let him. We had small baby size ice cream cones for the kids to eat and James decided to show off how big his mouth is....so he stuffed the whole cone into his mouth.

Isaac's Growing Up
All Aboard!
So I am back on board with my blog. I decided that I needed to get this blog updated and keep it that way. Here's Isaac and James at the Petersen Cabin on the 4th of July. Happy as can be to have convinced Isaac to pull him in the wagon. James would ride in there all day if he had a chance.

We had great weather on the 4th of July. Actually it was the hottest day we had the whole 2 weeks we were there. Frank and Karen ended up burning from playing in the water all day.

Mr. Innocent (not) loves to get Isaac to do things for him. He's a 13 year old, in a 2 year old body.
