Easter Hot Dog Roast

The following our random shots from our Easter lunch. The kids had fun trying to find all the Easter eggs. While the adults enjoyed watching from our chairs.

It wasn't as cold as it looks, the sun kept going behind the clouds and then the heat was gone.

So our Easter Sunrise, was a little delayed since we had a large cloud directly where the sun was. But it slowly made its appearance for all to see.

The kids and I went to go and see it with Aunt Karen. Troy had to work so he couldn't make it this year.

Menan Easter Egg Hunt April 11, 2009

Isaac and James were very excited about going to get candy. What kid doesn't like getting all kinds of candy. Isaac was being goofy and decided he wanted to keep his eyes closed for this picture.

Here's Isaac being picky....he would only pick up candy that he likes. The rest he left for other kids. Then there is James, who loves any and all candy. He was in the group age 0-2 years old, so he had the advantage over the younger ones. He picked up all the candy he could get his hands on to.

April 6th. Feeding the baby lambs.

So 3 days later and snow is gone. YEAH!!! The kids were so excited. They finally got to get the lambs out and try training them to follow them. The kids are really good at feeding their bottles to them. They have become pretty attached to their lambs.

And if you can't tell they are growing pretty fast. Its been fun for the kids to have some animals to play with. And the little lambs are pretty entertaining. They both have a very different personality.

April 3rd, 2009 Spring Snow Storm.

The other morning we woke up all kinds of snow. Isaac was very disappointed about it, however James didn't see how this was going to stop him from having fun. So when I wasn't watching he put on his shoes (no socks) and his coat. He still had his PJ's on...and he headed outside for his morning jump on his trampoline. However on his way up the slide he slipped and ended in the snow.

This is him heading back in feeling a little defeated.

Troy's Brithday March 31st!

Troy's birthday cake. We decided not to put all the candles on. Just one for him to remember that he is a year older now.

The boys couldn't wait to get their piece of cake.
